Jim Romano

I am James Romano. I am the Legislative Coordinator for the Gaucher Community Alliance. I am working to improve healthcare access for Gaucher patients and other Lysosomal Storage Diseases. I started my career advocating for the Hemophilia Community because of a personal tie – I had three uncles and two cousins with Severe Hemophilia A. I began advocating on Capitol Hill at 19 years old and I loved it. I know what 1 person can do to change the world. I am working to elevate Gaucher Disease and Lysosomal Storage Disorders in Congress and with the agencies of the Department of Health and Human Services. Whether increased research or home infusion, I am working to improve the lives of those living with Gaucher Disease.
