Helping those affected with all types of Gaucher disease live their fullest lives possible
The Gaucher Community Alliance (GCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for the patient community by the patient community. Our mission is to support patients with Gaucher disease and their families through peer-to-peer support and education, advocacy, patient and family resources, and networking. Increased collaboration and emotional support among patients living with all types of Gaucher disease may alleviate some of the burden associated with this rare disorder.
The GCA’s primary goals are to educate and support. Through mutual self-help and peer-to-peer connections, the GCA ensures no families shall face this disease alone. As patient needs in the community arise and transform, the GCA advocates and works with patients to meet the ever-changing struggles facing this rare disease community. Through patient collaboration, the GCA helps all those affected live their fullest lives.
