Conference FAQs

We welcome anyone who has been diagnosed with Gaucher disease as well as their friends, family and caregivers. This conference is meant to provide education and connection to those living with Gaucher disease and their loved ones.

Some important dates to note are:

Conference Dates:
Sunday, September 15, 2024 – Tuesday, September 17, 2024

Please note that conference check-in is open Sunday, September 15th from 3:00 – 9:00 PM and official programming starts at 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 15th.

Hotel Reservation Deadline
Friday, August 23, 2024

Registration Deadline
Thursday, August 1, 2024

The conference is free of charge to patients, family members and caregivers. Industry sponsors are permitted a certain amount of employees according to their sponsor level. Please contact us at for attendance beyond those limits. 

The Registration and Information Desk will be located on the lobby level near Pennsylvania Ballroom and will be open during the following times:

  • Sunday, September 15th, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Monday, September 16th, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, September 17th , 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Monday, September 16th, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, September 17th , TBD

You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with several exhibitors!

Scholarships are available to attend the conference in the amount of $900 for one person or $1,200 for both patient and caregiver. Priority for scholarships is given to workshop facilitators and are then awarded on a first come, first serve basis and will be paid after conference attendance. Please click here for a scholarship application. Note: Scholarship applications will not be reviewed unless a registration form has been completed.

Pittsburgh International Airport is the closest airport, located 13 miles from the hotel. Uber, Lyft, or taxis are options for transportation to the conference hotel and airport. Travel time between the airport and hotel is 20 minutes.
